The five of us live in the Second City- Chicago. We first met almost fourteen years ago, as a new surgical intern and nurse (shades of General Hospital!), and now both of us work at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, Anne as an RN in the cardiac cath lab, and Jessica as an Assistant Professor in the section of General Internal Medicine. All of our Rottie kids are adopted. Katie, now 8 years old, came to us at age 3. Sam was next, 2 years ago, when he was 9 mos. old. Finally, Cocoa came to us from NYC 15 mos. ago, and recently celebrated her second birthday. | ||||||||||||||||

We enjoy the urban environment in Chicago, although sometimes the crowds can drive you nuts. One thing about the notorious Chicago weather is that it keeps down the number of people moving here. One day we hope to have a country home in Michigan. | The city skyline from our deck | ||||||||||||||||
